C.M. Mayo's Tameme has just published the second in its lovely chapbook/cuadernos series. Tameme's mission is to promote English to Spanish and Spanish to English literary translation of new writing from North America. Their chapbooks/cuadernos celebrate and disseminate this new writing and translation in an attractive and affordable format.
This time around, John Oliver Simon translates nine poems by the winner of Mexico's Aguascalientes Poetry Prize, Jorge Fernandez Granados. The chapbook/cuadernos is titled Los Fantasmas del Palacio de Loz Azulejos or Ghosts of the Palace of Blue Tiles.
I love that Tameme is committed to publishing their works in the bilingual format, both languaged versions of the work (including the translator's introduction, the about the author, about the translator, and even about Tameme statements) appearing side by side.

Nice book it will help many people to learn spanish and vice versa.
