Dzanc Books Hires Publicist and Art Director
Dzanc Books has increased its staff size by hiring a part-time Publicist and Art Director and Webmaster. In order to maximize the potential exposure for our authors, titles, and other programs, Dzanc Books has hired Lauren Snyder as our Publicist. We are very excited to have Lauren, formerly Publicist at Coffee House Press, on staff, bringing with her years of experience and industry contacts. We are especially thrilled to have somebody that understands, via her work at a great independent press like Coffee House, the type of books that Dzanc will be publishing and how to help them find the best audience. Lauren resides in Asheville, NC, where she will continue to work for Dzanc as well as pursue independent projects.
Dzanc has also officially made Steven Seighman the Dzanc Books Art Director and Webmaster. Steven, who received an Associate of Science Degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, is responsible for all of the covers and book layouts that we’ve shown off to date, as well as our recent website overhaul. Steven is also the Editor, Publisher, and Designer of Monkeybicycle, and has been responsible for all of the covers and layouts of that as well; it was his dazzling work on this literary journal that first grabbed our attention. We look forward to working with Steven on our future projects.
