More Magazine Loves Misfits and Other Heroes

More Magazine's website has been chock full of good stuff lately when it comes to books coverage and they recently posted about five great indie titles to keep your eyes peeled for.

First on the blocks to appear is none other than Suzanne Burns' Misfits and Other Heroes with the comment:

A daring first story collection by a poet. If you love Flannery O'Connor, try Burns.

We think that's a fine comparison for Suzanne's work and suggest you go over and read about the other four (two of which I can vouch for as excellent reads - numbers 2 and 5, leading me to believe I'll enjoy the two remaining titles as well) as well, and give all five a chance!

The Future of Publishing?

So asks the headline in a full page article about Dzanc Books in Publisher's Weekly today.  Claire Kirch notes that "Dzanc is already becoming something of a literary powerhouse, prompting one veteran bookseller to declare the house the “future” of publishing."
