The Independent Publisher Book Award Results are in and in the category of General Fiction, frequent commenter here, Steven Gillis, was a finalist for his second novelist, The Weight of Nothing.
Steven's first novel, Walter Falls, was also a finalist for this award. While the two novels are in my TBR pile, I can say that having read about fifteen of Steven's short stories (look for the collection, Giraffes, in September!) that he's a fantastic writer and well deserving of the accolades here.
