I've done the whole what books am I looking forward to thing already, but a quartet I'd suggest pre-ordering now based on a week of plowing through them boom - bam - etc.
Roy Kesey - All Over - stories - Dzanc Books (I know, I know, but you know what - I just read the proofs for what be my sixth or seventh time through the collection and was still mesmerized at what Roy does in these stories)
Benjamin Percy - Refresh, Refresh - stories - Graywolf Press - another where I've read most of them already, but still found myself being caught off guard
Matthew Eck - The Farthest Shore - novel - Milkweed - An incredible debut about a soldier segregated from his unit in Somalia. Not put down once after I'd started (note to self - driving and reading? Not the best mix)
Steve Erickson - Zeroville - novel - Europa Editions - Holy shit was this good. And I've got four more of his sitting around here unread?
All are coming out between August and November but I'd order them now to whet the excitement level.
Erickson is a favorite of mine, and I've been looking forward to Zeroville. I too have some of this other books lying around unread, but the reason for that is that I don't want to burn through them and then not have something to look forward to.

Refresh, Refresh looks great.
I can identify with the driving/reading thing--I was so obsessed with Mark Dunn's Ella Minnow Pea, and so nearly late for work, that I finished it during my commute.

You've no idea how much I'm looking forward to Zeroville. (I read all of his novels in a single month last year. I think it was last year. No, two years ago. Whenever it was, I couldn't put 'em down.)
