You'd think by December 21st I'd have already learned of all of the short story collections published this year, but it has not been the case. There have been a handful of additions to the list the past week to ten days including Dust by Amy Dupcak (August by Lucid River Press), Electric Fences by Gugu Hlongwane (November by Mawenzi House/TSAR), This is a Dance Movie! by Tim Jones-Yelvington (September by CCM/Tiny Hardcore Press), Metaphysical Ukulele by Sean Carswell (May from Ig) and The Tiger and Other Tales by Jack Foley (December from Sagging Meniscus Press) which brings the list, as I know it, for 2016 to include 193 short story collections. I currently have or have ordered 86 of these and will absolutely be hitting 100 before too long.
